Steve & Poorna’s love story is one for the books for sure… And I’m so incredibly honored that I got to capture their special day for them! Although the first time I got to officially meet Poorna was on their wedding day, I feel like I’ve known her forever! We have a mutual friend, who of course was in the bridal party! 🙂 And this dear friend of mine, Jillian, has been telling me all about her amazing friend, Poorna, for the past 14 years, literally! Jillian has always spoken so highly of her, and now that I’ve had the opportunity to get to know her, even just a little, it’s easy to see why Poorna is such an incredibly special friend to Jillian & so many more!

And Poorna & Steve together are just the sweetest couple! The way the look at each other gives it away that they are just completely smitten with one another. And they have the sweetest, most supportive friends and family surrounding them. It was honestly such a beautiful thing to witness. From the amazing bond between Poorna and her mom, sister & 2 precious nieces… aka: “The Girl Gang” 🙂 to watching them be surrounded by prayer throughout the day, whether it was family, friends, or their sweet hair stylist & friend praying over them.

And Poorna’s attention to detail was amazing… from having a special pendant (for her) and pen (for him) with photos of loved ones that are no longer with us… to table settings that were each given a “name” to commemorate all of the places, teams, movies or memories that are important parts of their story so far… And their vows were so heartfelt. One of my favorite parts was when Steve promised to “let God & the Bible be his guide to loving her.” (I hope I got that right, Steve! 🙂 )The sincerity in their vows was evident to everyone there.

Also, it was definitely below freezing, and the whole bridal party & all of their family were such troopers to endure the cold! And they did it with smiles on their faces! 🙂 So thankful for all of their amazing attitudes!

And finally, Poorna & Steve chose the most amazing team of vendors to pull off their day! It was so great to work with such aweosome people! And I couldn’t have pulled this day off without my amazing friend, Robyn, who came to Louisville with me to document this day together! So very grateful for you, Robyn!

Steve and Poorna, thank you so very much for trusting me to capture your incredibly special day for you! You are such genuine people and your love for each other is refreshing! I have no doubt God has great plans in store for your future together! I hope you treasure these photos for years to come! And I wish you the VERY BEST!!!
