What an honor it was to photograph Dionte’s surprise proposal to Mellany! Dionte reached out to me weeks in advance to capture this incredibly special moment… He had such a special plan to take his girlfriend, Mellany, to Newfields and surprise her with a proposal! Newfields, which is located in the heart of Indianpolis and home of the historical Lily House, was the PERFECT location to choose for this! The gardens are magical, and the architecture is so beautiful!
And the day he chose for this was not only Mellany’s birthday, but also the anniversary of the day they met!! How amazing is that… that they met on her birthday, AND he got to propose to her on her birthday! I can’t think of a much more thoughtful plan & gift! Dionte was amazing at planning all of this out… He wanted every detail to be perfect! And he did an amazing job making her day and evening special afterwards too!
