Katie is a fellow photographer. We met a few years ago at Holcomb Gardens, where we were both waiting for our clients to arrive for their session. I asked her a question, and we got to talking about photography and figured out quickly that we had learned from the same educators! It was so fun meeting someone who spoke the same photography language! 🙂 And Katie is just SO sweet! She felt like an instant friend, as I’m sure she does to most anyone she meets! She is a nurse as well and has such a kind heart. I have no doubt she’s such a blessing to her patients!
Since we met that day, Katie and I have photographed two weddings together, and more importantly, she and her husband Jordan have welcomed their precious girl Ellie into this world! Katie has also took our family photos for us back in the Fall. It was sooooo nice having someone else take our family pics and not having to use a tripod! I felt so spoiled! 🙂
The Spring was the perfect time to have their family photos taken, since Ellie turned 1 in February! She was on the move & is absolutely adorable! And Coxhall Gardens is always an amazing location for any kind of session! It’s so beautiful! I just love the architecture mixed with the greenery, and of course, the water!
