What a joy it was to take the Cho family’s photos for their family reunion! It was so incredibly special to have these 5 brothers and their families all together in one place, and all in one picture! 🙂 They all traveled… from Chicago to Korea!… to Portland, IN, to be together!
And I am just SO thankful Miriam reached out to me to come take these photos! This had to be the most joyful family I’ve ever photographed! They had the best attitudes about photos, they were the best at fake laughing to create genuine smiles! :), they were so kind to offer to help me in any way they could, the kids were so polite, and even the babies were super content & happy! 🙂
And speaking of babies, the family also celebrated precious Windy’s first birthday while they were together, and it was amazing!! It was definitely the most elaborate first birthday celebration I’ve ever seen! From the most beautiful display & cake to the absolute cutest traditional Korean outfit for baby Windy!
But my favorite part of my time with this sweet family was getting to hang out in this home with them a little bit in between the family photos & birthday celebration… getting to watch the women all work together to prepare a meal for this huge family, seeing the family play with the babies on the floor, listening to the kids all get along… And they even sent me home with Korean noodles & rice cakes, which were delicious! I know no family is perfect, but the Cho’s have to be pretty close! 🙂
Thank you so much for trusting me with these photos, Miriam and the whole family!! It was SO wonderful meeting you all and getting to spend a couple of hours with you!
